Rules

Every battle starts with a brief. It tells you what to build and when the window closes. From there it is simple: build the thing, ship it, submit it before the lock.

Once submissions lock, voting opens. The community picks the winners, results are final when voting closes, and the next battle begins.

Use any stack, any tools, any AI. There are no restrictions on how you build, only on when. All work on your entry happens inside the build window.

Starting from your own boilerplate or a framework template is fine. Starting from a mostly finished project is not. The battle is the build, not the head start.

You are entering as yourself. One entry per builder per battle.

A submission needs three things: a name, a live URL anyone can open, and a public GitHub repo.

When submissions lock, the latest commit on your repo is pinned as your entry of record. Anything pushed after the lock is not part of your submission, so get it in before the deadline.

Your live URL should stay up through voting. Voters cannot vote for something they cannot see.

Anyone with an account can vote once the voting window opens. Vote for every submission you think deserves it, one vote per submission. You can change your mind and take a vote back any time before voting closes.

Vote for the work, not the person. Trading votes, brigading, or spinning up accounts to vote for yourself will get your entry pulled.

Votes decide your placement within a battle. Placement is what earns season points, so a close win and a blowout win pay the same. The points follow the Formula 1 curve:

This is a game between people who like building things. Ship something you are proud of, vote honestly, and be generous to builders who are earlier in the journey than you. Anything that would feel cheap if someone did it to you is against the rules, whether it is written here or not.
